What the MIT License means

Under the MIT License, you can use Claros in personal projects, commercial products, and hosted services without fee or restriction. The only requirement is that the copyright notice and permission notice appear in all copies or substantial portions of the software.

The development model is "open source, not open contribution," similar to SQLite. The source is public and the license is permissive; roadmap and design decisions stay with the core team.
